lux leaves the bench after four months

Official: Legacy part ways with lux ahead of reported move to Luminosity

lux is reportedly set to join his first international team.

Brazilian organization Legacy have announced the departure of Lucas "lux" Meneghini, seeing the IGL leave the organization's bench after being replaced by Andrei "arT" Piovezan in February. lux's departure from Legacy comes as the player is linked with a move to Luminosity as part of the Canadian organization's long-rumored return to Counter-Strike after seven years.

lux served as Legacy's IGL from January 2025 to February 2026, notably helping the team to win the CS Asia Championships 2025 and secure spots at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. His achievements with Legacy have somewhat been overshadowed by the success the team has enjoyed with Andrei "arT" Piovezan, however he is still regarded as a choice signing and a strong addition to Luminosity's budding roster.

According to HLTV, lux is set to link up with the Monte core, taking over the leadership role from Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen ahead of his expected move to 100 Thieves.

Luminosity's roster is reportedly set to consist of:

  • Brazil Lucas "lux" Meneghini

  • Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras

  • Oscar "AZUWU" Bell

  • Aurélien "afro" Drapier

Luminosity are also linked to Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, however HLTV has expressed less confidence in his addition to the team.
