NRG join FRAG St. Clair team list ahead of tonight's deadline

Earlier today, NRG signed up for FRAG St. Clair as the event's 22nd team, according to the event page. NRG joins the team list for the Canadian LAN ahead of signups closing tonight at midnight, with the event most likely set to feature a $,5000 prizepool unless two more teams signup in the next six hours.

Amidst the somewhat weak field set to head to St. Clair, NRG are far and away the favorite to win the event, with their only realistic competition being SportsBetExpert and perhaps Villainous. As such, this event should hopefully serve as a good confidence booster for NRG after a dire run at the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, which saw the team eliminated by BIG in Stage One after a 12-0 to 12-16 reversal of fortunes by the German team.

The event should also be one of the first for NRG's new lineup as they are still searching for a replacement for Danish rifler Alexander "br0" Bro.
