True North Studio to host two-day $750 CAD NA event in August

On June 19th, Canadian production company True North Studio announced that it would host a Counter-Strike event with analysis platform CounterStrat. While the event will not be VRS-supported, it will feature a $750 CAD prize pool, roughly equal to $528 USD.

The event will last just two days from August 15th to August 16th and feature a single-elimination bracket. Though the FACEIT page for the event has a maximum capacity of 24 teams, True North Studio said the event would only feature eight on their announcement post.

Currently, there are ten teams registered for the event, though two are on the waitlist. Registration for the event is still open on the FACEIT event page.
