Media: BC.Game CEO shuts down Jimpphat rumors: "It's not jimpphat"
BC.Game's CEO Ali Muhanned has quickly shut down expectation that the organization is interested in acquiring Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo from MOUZ, simply stating on X that the team's next player is "not jimpphat". Muhanned's quick response came after the German Cs Leaks account posted supposed information that BC.Game, Aurora, and G2 had out offers to the Finnish player.
The German Cs Leaks account has a mixed track record, especially outside of the German scene, with this latest rumor likely to further hurt his record unless Jimpphat, who has been on the bench since April, ends up on one of these three teams.
For what its worth, it is not out of the realm of possibility for Muhanned to be lying about the organization's interest in Jimpphat to "smokescreen" ongoing negotiations, as this is a fairly common tactic in esports. However, a lack of other reputable leakers/reporters covering the news is not confidence inspiring.
With BC.Game still needing two players to round out their roster, we have to wait and see what becomes of Jimpphat, German Cs Leaks' rumor, and the Finnish star's future.
BC.Game currently consists of:
•
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
•
Denis "electroNic" Sharipov
•
Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold
•
Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas (Coach)
