Arctic Ace enter CS2 with former Outfit 49 core and staff

Within two days of founder "Rakkno" announcing the end of Outfit 49, fellow Canadian esports organization Arctic Ace revealed that they had acquired not just the roster's core but also the staff. As stated in their announcement post on social media, Arctic Esports said, "We have acquired Outfit 49 in our expansion toward becoming not just Atlantic Canada's team, but Canada's team."

In their move to be a purely Canadian squad, former Outfit 49 player Owen "man327" Seolas will not join the new organization alongside the others. The other four members of the team, who have been together since their time on Phantom Sense, will transfer over. It seems they are still looking for a fifth.

In addition to the players, Arctic Ace have also added Outfit 49's full staff of Rakkno, Crispii, and Machorous to the organization.

Arctic Ace's new Counter-Strike 2 lineup is:
