A potential new home for the young star

Media: Legacy look to tomaszin as n1ssim replacement

Oh, how the tables may turn.

According to a report from Dust2 Brasil, Legacy has begun early negotiations with Argentine organization BESTIA to acquire young star Tomas "tomaszin" Corna. As tomaszin has been on BESTIA for over three years, it would be a huge transfer for Legacy if it happened.

After Legacy announced that rifler Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira would be moved to the bench, they previously looked to MIBR player Felipe "insani" Yuji as a replacement. With insani now reportedly staying with MIBR, tomaszin has emerged as a new potential fifth.

Legacy has been at the center of many rumors this offseason as they continue to shift targets for a new rifler and AWPer. Though n1ssim is the only one officially benched, reports have come out about Legacy looking to replace Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco with Santino "try" Rigal as well.

As for the tomaszin move, it would be quite the turn of events considering what happened between him and Legacy just over a year ago. After tomaszin and BESTIA beat Legacy to qualify for the BLAST Austin Major, visa issues gave Legacy the spot instead. The team swap was controversial, and tomaszin was one of the most vocal critics of Legacy, specifically calling out Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer.

Regardless of past issues, tomaszin is certainly worthy of the step up. In 2026, tomaszin has averaged a monstrous 1.21 rating on LAN across 83 maps. Though he hasn't played in any top-tier events this year, he has had strong performances against solid teams like B8, 3DMAX, and BetBoom.

If both this and the rumored try signings go through, Legacy's lineup would be:

  • Brazil Bruno "latto" Rebelatto

  • Brazil Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer

  • Brazil Andrei "arT" Piovezan

  • Santino "try" Rigal

  • Tomas "tomaszin" Corna

  • Brazil Alan "adrrr" Riveros (Coach)
