FACEIT overwhelmed by "unprecedented" numbers amidst Cache release

According to a post by FACEIT's community manager Darwin, queues went down after the platform received 360,000 requests per minute at the launch of Season 8. Signs point to the outage being related to Cache's release.

Darwin reports that "every record of the platform has been blown away" as players log in for the long-awaited return of the map, which won a community vote for its reinstatement into the pool.

The workshop page is evidently back in working order, just in time to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of players attempting to load in.
