Iowa Stormboar picks up carbs as new coach

Yesterday Iowa Stormboar announced the signing of Nick "carbs" Carbonetto, seeing the former Villainous coach take over the role following Caedon "MAD" Zube's departure from the team on July 10th. carbs join Iowa Stormboar at the tail end of the team's rebuild which recently saw them reinstate William "aelor" Africano and Anthony "ayaneuu" Scheuer into the starting lineup while also picking up Noah "false" Richardson.

Iowa Stormboar is carbs' third team of 2026, having started the year with Outfit 49 in January before that team disbanded in early April. From there carbs spent two months with the mouse/Villainous core, leaving that team in late June amidst disagreements over the team's direction.

With carbs Iowa Stormboar will look to climb the rankings while sitting at 13th in the NA VRS. While things are currently quiet, when ESL Challenger League gets started up again in August, Iowa Stormboar's new roster will have a chance to prove itself.
