Dodge steps down from Arctic Ace

A week after joining the Canadian team Arctic Ace, Christophe "Dodge" Mailhot has stepped down from the roster. Though no replacement has been announced yet, Arctic Ace told fans on social media to "let us cook."

Dodge tells Dust2.us that the team’s schedule would be delayed due to the wildfires plaguing much of Canada, as two of Arctic Ace’s players are also firemen. The increased commitment to their jobs will likely hurt the team's ability to have a consistent schedule over the next few months.

“Practice time is gonna be very little and ESEA might be reschedule after reschedule or just entirely missed,” Dodge says. "I believe their plan is to take someone that isn't in a 'rush' to play the game and take some time to practice."

Given this news, the 22-year-old has accepted an offer to reunite with former Omen teammate Brandon “yuush1” Nguyen on babaG. The squad are currently 2-0 in ESEA Open.
