FaZe crush EYEBALLERS' hopes of repeat BLAST Bounty upset

In picking FaZe as their bounty target, EYEBALLERS aimed to replicate the success they'd found against them in January, but FaZe stood much stronger in BLAST Bounty Season 2 than they had in Season 1. This marks FaZe's second straight victory over the Swedes, whom they also defeated in Guangzhou.

The opening half of Mirage ended in a 6-6 tie, but FaZe overcame a second-half pistol loss to start by securing matchpoint 12-9. EYEBALLERS would push their own map pick into overtime with three consecutive defenses, but FaZe would go flawless post-regulation to win 16-12.

EYEBALLERS' stand-in Simon "yxngstxr" Boije and FaZe rifler Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski each secured 27 frags on the map, with the latter boasting a lobby-high 1.65 rating.

Moving forward, Dust2 saw FaZe surge to a 9-3 lead spearheaded by AWPer Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen's T-side performance. While EYEBALLERS did have a better attacking half themselves, it was only better by two rounds, leaving the hopeful bounty hunters with an 8-13 loss.
