Wildcard defend their bounty and take down Alliance 2-0

After Alliance picked Wildcard, the lowest of all teams with bounties, the Swedes entered the server as favorites by VRS as they outranked Wildcard #17 to #36. However, Wildcard showed fantastic form to defend their $15,000 bounty and reach the top 16.

After a rough showing at Stake Ranked Episode 3, this match hopefully signals that Wildcard are back on the right track.

The series began on Alliance's pick of Inferno, but Wildcard took an early 4-0 lead. Alliance fought back to close the gap, but Wildcard held control to enter the second half with a 9-3 lead. After winning the second pistol, Wildcard quickly closed the map 13-3 to steal Alliance's pick.

Wildcard picked Dust2 and won their third pistol for a 2-0 start. Again, Alliance got some rounds back, but again Wildcard had control of the half overall to take an 8-4 lead. Alliance finally won a pistol, but Wildcard's defense proved too much to handle as the North American side took the map 13-7.

Jadan "HexT" Postma was the standout performer for Wildcard as he went 32-15 over the two maps with plenty of big moments throughout the series.
