German streamer MAUschine permanently banned from FACEIT, ESIC events after assaulting opponent on LAN

Bans were handed down across the wider scene after MAUschine "sucker punched" Spidergum.

German streamer and player Maurizio "MAUschine" Weber has been hit with further bans and punishments after assaulting fellow German player Fabian "Spidergum" Salomon in an unprovoked attack last week at the CAGGTUS Leipzig LAN party. After being handed ten-year bans by the German DACH League and Fragster, MAUschine has now been permanently banned from all ESIC member events and from FACEIT as the community has come together to repudiate the "sore loser"'s actions.

Along with effectively being banned from competing or playing Counter-Strike 2, MAUschine has also seemingly been handed a ban on Twitch for violation of their TOS, with his account currently being unavailable at the time of publication.

Overall, MAUschine has effectively been declared persona non grata in the wider scene, a somewhat ironic punishment as the streamer was not widely known outside of the German scene and was unlikely to ever go pro at 31 years old.
