Wolffe named the MVP of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 7!
Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield has claimed the MVP of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 7 after a stellar final against Akimbo put a cap on his already fantastic playoff run. The MVP is his first after Kevin "consti" Yi narrowly won it over him in Series 6, despite both putting up strong performances.
After missing the opening match against Reign Above, Wolffe had solid stats in the team's next two group matches. He had a decent 1.19 rating over the games against Chicanery and Zomblers, but was actually the teams lowest rated player outside of match one stand-in John "JTMythic" Timmermann.
However, Wolffe stepped up in a big way once the playoffs came around. In the opening map against Aether, Wolffe had a monstrous 2.00 rating. Though he was quieter in the next two maps, he was still the highest-rated player on the team with a 1.26 rating.
In their semifinal against Zomblers, Wolffe had over 108 ADR and a 1.64 rating over the series to lock in a 2-0. The final against Akimbo was a similar story; Wolffe got a 1.67 rating and had the most kills on the server in both maps.
After a 1.19 rating in groups, Wolffe averaged a 1.48 in playoffs, by far the best on his team. This pulled his overall event rating up to 1.38, only behind Chance "WUMBO" Boyer as the highest-rated player at the event.
His incredible run in the playoffs, with particularly high impact in the semis and final, earned Wolffe his well-deserved first MVP and helped insane players claim first place.
