Astralis CEO says players haven't been paid their salaries

No Astralis players or employees have been paid their salaries.

Astralis CEO Jonas Gundersen confirmed to Ekstra Bladet that Astralis employees and players have not been paid their salaries that were due at the beginning of December.

Astralis are currently playing for their life at the StarLadder Budapest Major v. Aurora in Stage 2.

Jonas Gundersen has been the CEO of Astralis since the Danish org was acquired by Fusion Esports in September. Gundersen has said that Astralis employees will receive a ten percent increase in salary when they are paid as compensation. However, Astralis only informed their workers that they would not be paid on the day their wages were due.

Gundersen did not explain why employees were not paid their salaries for this month, as Ekstra Bladet did try to ask why the CEO didn't inform his employees earlier. Gundersen will address the issue after the StarLadder Budapest Major.
