BESTIA CEO claims BLAST have replaced them with Legacy despite visas being ready on Monday
BLAST informed BESTIA that Legacy will replace them at the Austin Major. The Argentinian team qualified for the Major via the South American MRQ after beating Legacy, however, they're having a hard time securing visas for Luciano "luchov" Herrera and Martín "tomaszin" Corna.
The news was shared by BESTIA's own CEO Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo, and according to him, BLAST will make the announcement soon. However, Mr. Lococo is hopeful that BESTIA will attend the Major as he got word that the visas for luchov and tomaszin will be ready on Monday, May 26th.
Mr. Lococo also made a final plea to the CS2 community:
I ask you for one last effort: help us stop this injustice. We deserve to represent Argentina in the Major, and we still have time.
BESTIA needs at least one of luchov or tomaszin to get their visas approved. This way, they could utilize Nicolás "NikoM" Miozzi as a substitute and attend the BLAST.tv Austin Major. But, of course they want to attend the event with all the starting players.
It remains to be seen whether BESTIA will convince BLAST to postpone their decision until Monday or if BLAST's decision to replace BESTIA with Legacy is final. Legacy's player Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer revealed to Dust2.us yesterday that they have a "big chance" of playing at the Major, which sparked much criticism from the BESTIA players and Argentinian fans in general.
