BESTIA beg for help to try to secure BLAST.tv Austin Major visas

They've launched a Hail Mary to try to play in Austin.

Just a few weeks before the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 kicks off, Argentinian team BESTIA is still trying to secure visas. They have secured visas for only four players, and that includes the substitute Nicolas "NikoM" Miozzi.

So, unless BESTIA secures visas for either one of Tomas "tomaszin" Corna and Luciano "luchov" Herrera, they'll be unable to play at the Major. With that in mind, BESTIA kickstarted a campaign on X with the hashtag #ArgentinaAlMundial with the hope that it will get the attention from the authorities.

"We've been trying to sort out the visa situation for three years but we keep getting turned down," BESTIA's founder and CEO Alejandro "PapoMC" Lococo said in an emotional video shared by BESTIA.

"We've used every resource at our disposal and we've spoken with every person we thought could give us important information, with agencies […] We are practicing in Brazil. We went to the embassy for the boys to give it another try and they were once again turned down."

Mr. Lococo stressed that all players have a life in Argentina, and they won't stay in the U.S. after their BLAST.tv Austin Major campaign concludes. He revealed that both tomaszin and luchov tried to get their visas approved with a letter of recommendation from the Argentinian government and from BLAST, but the effort was worthless until now.

BESTIA's post on X garnered a lot of attention — 2.4 million views — and other organizations and players like OG, 9z, and the Vitality captain Dan "apEX" Madesclaire have shared it.

It remains to be seen, though, if all this effort will be enough to help the first Argentinian-majority lineup to ever qualify for a Major play it.
