"A living nightmare" NRG exit Major in shame after giving up 12-0 lead on Mirage
NRG have been eliminated from the IEM Cologne 2026 Major in the most insane heartbreaking manner possible, giving up a Map 3 12-0 lead on Mirage to BIG. The insane loss saw NRG give up 16 rounds in a row after a long series where a single round win would've given them a spot in Stage Two. Ultimately no one will ever talk about Dust2 or Nuke in this series ever again as BIG's comeback and NRG's failure is a historic first in Counter-Strike history and one of the most shameful moments in NA CS history.
Ultimately there's not really much else to say about this series as Nick "nitr0" Cannella had an absolutely lights out performance on his Mirage CT-side while calling an immaculate game only to completely give it up with one of the worst T-side games ever... accomplishing nothing to damn NA to see only one NA team through to Stage Two.
