ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 4 Day 6: Wildcard move to grand final, Zomblers eliminate regain
The sixth day of play in ECL S51 Cup 4 came to a close, with three teams remaining in the running for the crown.
Wildcard took down Voca in the upper final 2-0 after an impressive series from Wildcard IGL Nemanja “nEMANHA” Ðukić. In the other match, Zomblers triumphed in a 2-0 sweep to eliminate regain and advance to the consolidation final.

The upper final began on Wildcard’s Dust2 pick, where they raced out to a 6-2 lead on the T side. Voca kept the margin at four, trailing 8-4 at halftime. Wildcard closed things quickly in the second half; a flawless CT side led to their 13-4 win on Dust2.
Voca’s pick was Overpass, but it was Wildcard who seized the advantage early, jumping out to a 5-1 edge. Voca couldn’t get anything going on the T side, falling behind 9-3 at halftime. Although Voca cut into the lead by winning the first three rounds, they couldn’t make real inroads into the match. Wildcard put Voca away with ease, winning 13-6 to book a spot in the grand final.
nEMANHA was in fine form, going 40-21 in the sweep.

Zomblers 2-0 regain
regain got things started by picking Mirage. They took a swift 4-0 lead on the T side, but Zomblers battled back to reduce the deficit to 5-7 at the half. A back-and-forth second period was punctuated by Zomblers finishing with a flurry, winning the final four rounds to steal the first map 13-11.
Zomblers were keen on closing the series on their choice of Ancient, and it showed in their play. Zomblers sprinted ahead, taking a 9-1 lead before regain clawed back two rounds at the end of the half. regain didn’t get much going, winning just one second-half round as Zomblers put them away 13-4.
Connor “CoolComs” Barnes was on fire for Zomblers, totaling 52 frags, fourteen more than the next closest player.
