zont1x, m0NESY, and karrigan absent from Cologne media day due to illness

According to HLTV's live coverage of media day at IEM Cologne, three players have missed the obligation after falling ill: Spirit's Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia, as well as Falcons AWPer Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen.

With both teams' Major quarterfinals set to start Friday, hopes will be that these sicknesses are only short-term bugs. Falcons will especially need their AWPer and IGL against 2025's back-to-back Major champions Vitality. For Spirit, whose coaches were already unable to attend Cologne, zont1x's recovery will also be imperative.

This wouldn't be the first time multiple players became sick at an event. ESL Pro League Season 19, for example, saw NA players Michael "Grim" Wince, Justin "FaNg" Coakley, and Adam "freshie" Paterson all contract food poisoning in Malta.

Let's hope the Falcons and Spirit players return to full health come Major playoffs.
