9z win guarantees Americas region a second Stage 3 invite to PGL Major Singapore

With their playoff-clinching victory over MongolZ at IEM Cologne, South American team 9z have secured the Americas region an additional invite to Stage 3 of the Singapore Major, according to VRS expert Jesper "Udknud" Larsen.

This result sees Asia lose their Stage 3 invite, leaving Europe with six and the Americas with two. This second invite is exceedingly important for the Americas, as M80's failure to advance to Stage 3 in Cologne already cost the region one of its original spots in Singapore.
