Marsborne and Festina Lente reach NSTLGA League upper finals
The playoffs of NSTLGA League Season 1 are well underway as the first two days of playoffs are behind us. Some favorites have dominated while others faltered as the fight for the $3,000 first place prize and VRS points heats up.
After a day one with several upsets, F5 were sent packing early after losses to Marsborne and Wanted Goons, a rough result for the team as they were the second highest ranked team by VRS. Also eliminated were the South American and Mongolian mixed team Club 333 as they lost to Festina Lente and Iowa Stormboar.
Marsborne 2-0 Overtake Sector
Tournament-favorites Marsborne followed up their dominant performance against F5 with another strong victory over Overtake Sector. A phenomenal showing by Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula on Mirage helped Marsborne steal their opponent's pick 13-7, while a more well-rounded team performance secured their own pick of Inferno 13-7 as well. The 2-0 victory sent Marsborne to the upper-bracket final, securing a top-three placement.

DETONATE 0-2 Festina Lente
Despite this only being the second tournament Festina Lente have ever played in, they have had solid results thus far. Multiple clutches and strong play from disadvantaged starts earn Festina their Nuke pick 13-7. On DETONATE's Anubis pick, things started much rougher as Festina went down 2-9. However, they showed great resiliency as they fought all the way back to take the map 13-11.
