LAG part ways with kmrn as part of roster overhaul

LAG are looking to rebuild without kmrn.

LAG have announced the departure of Kamron "kmrn" Manii from the team's ranks, seeing the lineup reduced to just three players following the departure of Kevin "consti" Yi to SportsBetExpert last month. LAG's decision to part ways with kmrn marks the end of an eight-month stay under the NA organization, having joined LAG back in October 2025 as a replacement for Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield.

The removal of kmrn comes after a sustained dip in form and results for LAG, with the team falling to 10th place in North America per the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

The team's current woes can in some way be traced to their failure to secure a spot in PGL Astana 2026 after being reverse-swept by Fisher in the NA Closed Qualifier grand finals. Since then, the team have been shaky against teams ranked below them in North America, with notable losses to InControl, mouse, and Aether in the last two months showing cracks in a team that is generally considered to be a quite reliable contender domestically.

These cracks seemingly prompted a change in direction as kmrn told Dust2.us that LAG decided to cut him due to changes in the vision for the team as they pursue renewed success.

LAG will be on the lookout for a new AWPer and a new rifler to fill out their roster, with the team's fielding of Nicholas "nicx" Lee at FRAG TAP Reloaded 2026 perhaps suggesting a future pickup as Passion UA reportedly look to sell off their team.

LAG are currently:

  • United States Justin "Sandman" Saulle

  • Canada Jonathan "djay" Dallal

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
