No return to China for M80

Jury duty keeps M80 from attending XSE Pro League LAN

More time to rest over the summer break.

As Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major is nearing its end, Xinsai Esports announced that M80 and Legacy will not be in attendance at the XSE Pro League 2026 LAN. The event, set to begin in the middle of summer break on July 1st, was a strong opportunity for teams on the cusp of tier-one invites to gain VRS points for the next season. However, with M80's recent elimination from the Major, perhaps a break would serve them better.

Due to how little time there is until the event, the two Americas teams will be replaced by two Asian ones: TYLOO and Lynn Vision.

While M80 and Legacy both recently played at the CS Asia Championships in Shanghai, they had trouble finalizing plans to attend the upcoming event in Guangzhou, further south. While Legacy dealt with passport issues, M80 had a player called for jury duty, which is certainly a unique conflict.

With a Swiss system ensuring a good number of matches and other opposition at their level, the event could have helped M80 secure some much-needed VRS points, as they currently sit at #26 in the global standings.

Following their withdrawal from the XSE Pro League, M80's next confirmed event is the Esports World Cup beginning on August 12th.
