hally ruled out for Major playoffs due to ongoing health issues

Earlier today, HLTV confirmed with Spirit that head coach Sergey "hally" Shavayev will miss out on the IEM Cologne Major 2026 playoffs after missing Stage Two and Stage Three due to health issues. As a result, Spirit will continue their run in Germany without a coach standing behind them (unless you count Jab Jabich) while hally will work alongside Dmitriy "S0tF1k" Forostyanko as the latter coach was also unable to attend the Major due to visa issues.

Fortunately for Spirit, hally's absence has seemingly not affected the team too drastically as they sailed through Stages Two and Three of the Major with flying colors, posting 3-0 records in both stages while Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has been a terror on the server.

Spirit's playoffs run is set to start on June 19th as the team are set to take on G2 after G2 locked in the final spot in playoffs after besting NAVI in a significant upset for the squad.
