No more NA representation in Romania

Wildcard withdraw from the upcoming Super Draculan event

No more events this season for them.

Just under two weeks after Digital Crusade announced them as part of the lineup, Wildcard have withdrawn from the upcoming Super Draculan. The event is set to run from June 23rd to June 28th, starting only a little after the conclusion of the IEM Cologne Major.

With a $75,000 prize pool and a team list with GamerLegion, FOKUS, Sharks, and OG, it was going to be a good opportunity for Wildcard to continue climbing the VRS ranking.

Currently, no information is available on why Wildcard, alongside TYLOO, withdrew from the event. Dust2.us reached out for comment, but has not received a response as of now.

With their recent LAN wins at FRAG 20 and BC.Game Masters Championship #2, Wildcard are set to enter the second half of 2026 in a great position. On the June VRS, they are #25 globally, #6 in the Americas, and #1 in NA. Though they will drop slightly after their absence from the major, they are still poised for invites in addition to the one they already received for EWC in August.

Super Draculan could have been a chance to climb further up the VRS and get more experience as a lineup, but Wildcard will enter the next season as a top team in North America regardless.
