
F5 part ways with roster as team seeks new home without Signal
Earlier today F5 announced the departure of their Counter-Strike 2 roster while separately the squad also announced the departure of Ethan "Signal" Riley last night, with the team set to stick together. The change in the lineup marks the first shakeup for the ex-F5 crew after solidifying their starting five in late 2025 under Reactor 9.
It has been a busy year for the former F5 squad, with the the team attending two FRAG LANs, earning a VRS rank, and playing in a number of ECL cups. Their best result of the year thus far is a second-place finish in the third ECL S51 Cup thanks a lower-than-average turnout and notable wins over Outfit 49 and regain.
ex-F5 are currently ranked 39th in the Americas on the VRS and will be looking to climb up the standings in the second half of the year.
Dust2.us understands that the organization already have a new home lined up, while the hunt is on for a new fifth.
