CROSSFIRE S4 to culminate with a final between regain and Zomblers
After beginning the group stage in early March, CROSSFIRE Season 4 has narrowed 32 teams down to the final two: Zomblers and regain. With Ben "HAMBOOGA" Wetrich stepping away from competitive CS after this event, it would be a nice way to end his time with Zomblers. regain have made the finals of every CROSSFIRE season and are now looking for their second title after falling to Zomblers in S2 and Chicken Coop in S3.
With both teams entering the final as former champions, Zomblers beating regain in a past final, and regain besting Zomblers three times already in 2026, this match has baggage on both sides.
regain began their run in Group A alongside Beyond Limits, Over Your Head, and webOS. After topping their group 3-0, they advanced to the playoffs in solid form. In their run through the bracket, they did not drop a single map as they dispatched of Wanted Goons, Beyond Limits, and Reborn to reach the final.
Zomblers started in Group C with Phantom Sense, Zealous, and Parallax as their opposition. Like regain, they went 3-0 to comfortably reach the playoffs. Once there, they beat F5 2-1 before taking 2-0s over Omen and mouse, leading them to the final.
The CROSSFIRE S4 grand final will be a bo3 and play out on April 23rd at 08:00PM with the winner taking home $2,000 and the loser earning $1,250. On April 24th at 08:00PM, a third-place decider between mouse and ClayMakers Reborn will take place, with the winner getting $250.
