Wildcard eliminated from BLAST Bounty after falling to The MongolZ
After passing round one with a fantastic victory over Alliance, Wildcard found themselves outmatched in the round of sixteen. Wildcard selected The MongolZ, who recently had to bring in two new players, but were unable to capitalize on competitive first halves as they lost 2-0.
The series began on Wildcard's pick of Dust2. After Wildcard won the pistol, the two teams traded streaks of rounds before a final win by The MongolZ gave them a slight 7-5 lead. Wildcard won the second pistol and tied the score, but The MongolZ got another streak to secure the map 13-7.
The MongolZ picked Inferno and started well with the pistol and conversions. The rest of the half was back-and-forth, leaving the teams tied 6-6. The MongolZ got the second half pistol and conversions as well, but Wildcard got three of their own to tie the score again, 9-9. Unfortunately for the NA side, The MongolZ again provided stronger down the stretch as they took the map 13-9.

With that loss, Wildcard are eliminated from BLAST Bounty Season 2 one round short of the LAN Finals. Their next event will be the Esports World Cup in Paris, which starts on August 12th.
