M80 need to perform to make the Major

M80 drop out of PGL Bucharest to focus on IEM Colgone Major race

They will attend Gamers Assembly instead.

M80 have confirmed that they will no longer be attending PGL Bucharest and that they will be playing at Gamers Assembly in its place.

The NA side told Dust2.us that they are pulling out of Bucharest to give themselves a better shot at qualifying for the IEM Cologne Major.

M80 are currently on the bubble for IEM Cologne, as they sit in 9th place in the Americas VRS standings. The top ten teams from the Americas will be invited to the Major, leavign M80 with little room for error in their remaining tournaments before the invites are sent out on April 6th.

M80 placing well at DraculaN Season 6 and at Gamers Assembly will do a lot for their Major chances. The North Americans have started well at DraculaN, winning their opening match v. Basement Boys.
