Breaking: VulcaN permanently banned from FACEIT for "Toxicity"
FACEIT has permanently banned Andrew "VulcaN" Dominguez from the platform, seeing the Straight2Killin player barred from using the platform for "toxicity". Official details from FACEIT regarding the ban are sparse, however VulcaN's permanent ban comes after being embroiled in a number of controversies over the years, with the player being accused of stealing skins, account sharing, and boosting the in the old FPL-C qualifiers.
While FACEIT themselves have yet to comment on the ban, VulcaN's toxicity ban comes just hours after the player was accused of cheating and harassment in a CS2 Premier match by former Impact player Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click. Dust2.us was unable to verify that the two events are related, with FACEIT not returning a request for comment ahead of publication.
The accusations leveled by uhKelsie at VulcaN follow a protracted public spat between the two parties, with what appears to be a broken down relationship leading to insults, accusations, and vitriol being sent back and forth between VulcaN and uhhKelsie in recent months.
Dust2.us reached out to VulcaN for comment on his ban, with him telling the publication that the account shared by uhhKelsie does not belong to him and that he plans on appealing his ban. uhhKelsie declined to comment on the situation.
Should the ban stand, it would effectively end VulcaN's playing career as it bars the player from competing in ESEA League, any FACEIT qualifier, and the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series, which mirrors FACEIT bans.
