HAMBOOGA unbanned after Valve addresses false bans in update

Ben "HAMBOOGA" Wetrich was one of the few who experienced a false VAC ban recently. He was banned on December 5th and the cause was determined to likely be connected to his +left bind, which was found to have VAC banned other users by mistake.

HAMBOOGA was unbanned yesterday evening, about a day after Valve released an update to address the false bans.

Valve released an update on the evening of December 8th.

A post on Reddit found that the +left ban was reproducible and was likely caused when the player's CS2 client lagged while using the command.

HAMBOOGA has most recently plied his trade for Zomblers in the ESL Challenger League S50 Cups, where he and his side took 7th/8th after a loss to Mythic. Afterwards, he left the team, citing a combination of circumstances and the environment that led to his departure from Zomblers.
