Canadian charity tournament Frag For Cancer to return this year

As reported by ThirdSite, the Frag For Cancer fundraising tournament is back, with the three-day Halifax LAN set to begin November 13th at the Light House Arts Centre.

The FRAG Esports (not to be confused with FRAG) Facebook page has posted an official update, confirming the event is back after being postponed in October 2025, in part "due to transitions in staffing at the Lighthouse Art Center" limiting schedule availability. While last year's tournament was eventually scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend, it was understandably difficult to garner enough team sign-ups.

According to ThirdSite, there will be an initial 16-team cap for this year's iteration of the BYOC event, and it will not be VRS-ranked.
