HexT will don new colors after an extended period with NRG

Report: M80 set to swap reck for HexT

HexT won't be left out in the cold ahead of NRG's changes.

Dust2.us has learned from multiple sources that M80 are set to unveil Canadian rifler Jadan "HexT" Postma as a replacement for Ethan "reck" Serrano, with the latter player heading to the bench after two years with the American organization. HexT's move to M80 from NRG follows reporting by Dust2.us that HexT was set to be replaced by Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly on NRG as part of the wider NA shuffle.

Like many NA teams, M80's decision to shake up their roster in the off-season comes after an underwhelming showing with few wins over international competition in the first half of 2025. M80 recently concluded their season with poor showings at both PGL Astana 2025 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, only claiming a single Bo1 over OG in the two competitions. During this time, reck struggled immensely, ending the two events with 0.78 and 0.95 ratings respectively.

The decision to pick up HexT despite his own struggles on NRG are potentially influenced by his experience and overall versatility as a player, with HexT also offering a modest bump in stats against Top 50 teams.

M80 is expected to debut HexT at Fragadelphia 19 when the Canadian LAN kicks off on July 17th.

M80's roster is set to consist of:

  • United States Michael "Swisher" Schmid

  • Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich

  • Elias "s1n" Stein

  • United States Mason "Lake" Sanderson

  • Canada Jadan "HexT" Postma

  • Rory "dephh" Jackson (Coach)

  • United States Ethan "reck" Serrano (Inactive)

M80 did not respond to a request for comment ahead of publication.
