Maxuel parts ways with Festina Lente, joins DETONATE

Max "Maxuel" Barutt announced that he was parting ways with Festina Lente, only to be added to DETONATE two hours later. In a statement to Dust2.us, Maxuel noted that the Festina Lente players got offers from different teams, meaning not enough members will be left to keep the VRS core.

Maxuel joins DETONATE prior to the beginning of ESEA Advanced Season 58, where he is playing in place of New Zealander Aidan "Feral" Wood. Dust2.us learned that Feral is moving to the bench due to IRL work obligations, but is still listed on the FACEIT team as a substitute.

DETONATE finished last season of Main with an 11-3 record, and their performance in the playoffs was good enough to earn them a berth in the ESEA NA Finals.

They won one and lost one game in the Finals, which gave them a 5th-8th place finish, earning the team a jump up to Advanced in S58.
