Official: n1ssim rejoins Legacy after under a month on the bench

Despite several rumors emerging over the past few weeks about changes, Legacy have confimed that Vinicius "⁠n1ssim⁠" Pereira will return to the starting lineup not one month after he asked to be benched following their elimination from the IEM Cologne Major. According to a report from Dust2 Brasil, Legacy's players and management were eager to have him back on the active team.

n1ssim first joined the organization at the start of 2025 alongside in-game leader Lucas "lux" Meneghini, a move that greatly improved the team.

After the announcement that he had been benched, Legacy made several attempts to find a replacement. They first went after MIBR star Felipe "insani" Yuji, who opted to stay with MIBR, then moved their sights to Tomas "tomaszin" Corna, who got resistance from BESTIA. Even so, Legacy are still expected to make one change as AWPer Guilherme "⁠saadzin⁠" Pacheco is expected to be replaced by Santino "⁠try⁠" Rigal.

Despite a disappointing Stage 3 exit at the Major, Legacy had some great performances in the first half of 2026 with new IGL Andrei "arT" Piovezan. They built on a run to the quarterfinals at ESL Pro League Season 23 with a third-place finish at IEM Atlanta and a trophy at the CS Asia Championships over Falcons.
