NuTorious set to field Danish import Maze at FRAG St. Clair

NuTorious have announced that they will field Danish professional player Mikkel "Maze" Sparvath for the upcoming FRAG St. Clair LAN and for the BLAST Open Porto NA Closed Qualifier. The Dane continues on with NuTorious after standing in with them during the BLAST Open Porto NA Open Qualifiers, topping the second Open Qualifier after besting aircoal in the finals.

The 25-year-old Danish rifler has been playing in the European scene since 2018, most notably playing for Fnatic Rising in the WePlay Academy League and for the likes of AaB, BIG ACADEMY, and for Secret during the latter organization's short-lived foray into Counter-Strike 2.

While Maze linking up with NuTorious seemingly came out of left field, Andrew "Kermi" Cretella says it is as simple as them seeing the Danish IGL's posts on X and deciding to try and bring the Dane into their team after being impressed with his work.

NuTorious will play FRAG St. Clair with:

FRAG St. Clair is set to start on July 11th with NuTorious attending the Canadian LAN alongside NRG, SportsBetExpert, and Villainous, among other teams.
