NRG confirm attendance at €15,000 French LAN Station Strike #1

On July 3rd, NRG confirmed their attendance in Station Strike #1, a €15,000 French LAN set to take place in the Breton city of Rennes. The event will be NRG's first of the new season and will see the team head to Europe for the LAN on July 22nd ahead of the Esports World Cup Last Chance Qualifier on August 7th.

Station Strike #1 was advertised as a 24-team LAN, however based on the latest update to the event's registration form, it appears Station Esport were only able to attract six teams to the event. Outside of NRG, the most notable squads set to head to Rennes include Turkish organization Sangal's new international lineup and Ukrainian stack BASEMENT BOYS.

As such, the event is unlikely to provide great practice to NRG ahead of the EWC LCQ, however it will hopefully give the Americans an opportunity to warmup on the European continent with their yet-to-be announced replacement for Alexander "br0" Bro.
