Official: SAW unveil Portuguese "superteam" featuring former SAW quartet led by MUTiRiS

SAW have officially the signing of a new Portuguese roster featuring many of Portugal's best players including Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes, João "story" Vieira, and Michel "ewjerkz" Magalhães. The roster reunites a number of players that slowly left the SAW organization over the past two years, with ewjerkz being acquired by NIP in early 2025 while MUTiRiS and Adones "krazy" Nobre were acquired by BC.Game while story was acquired by FlyQuest at the start of 2026.

With the roster reassembled, it marks the end of a largely unsuccessful period of playing in the international scene for these players, with SAW likely hoping that bringing the boys home will allow them to emulate the success seen in 2024 and 2025; including a semi-finals run at IEM Cologne 2024.

The roster is rounded out by Filipe "NOPEEj" Dias from fellow Portuguese organization Rebels, while Tiago "mowzassa" Rodrigues will remain as the team's coach after previously working with MUTiRiS from October 2025 to January 2026.

SAW's previous roster, a fledgling squad of young players, has been moved down to the academy where SAW will continue to support them in their development.

This new roster will start with 0 VRS points due to lacking three players from any previous squad, meaning they will need to fight in the open circuit to claim a rank.
