Jimpphat departs MOUZ after over four years in the organization

From the academy to the main squad, it's been a long ride.

Earlier today, MOUZ announced that their stalwart support player Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo would no longer be a part of the squad. Though he is only 19 years old, Jimpphat has been in the MOUZ organization since May of 2022, when he joined their academy team.

During his time on MOUZ, he helped them reach two Major semifinals, an IEM Cologne grand final, and win back-to-back ESL Pro League seasons. As an individual, Jimpphat earned seven HLTV EVP awards and ranked #17 on the top 20 players of 2024 list.

In a post discussing his departure, Jimpphat was grateful for his time on the team and understanding of the move. "I want to say big thanks for MOUZ for all the great memories we made together... Changes were needed in the team and I happened to be one of them." He added that he would be taking a "small break" before returning to competition.

Following the addition of Lotan "Spinx" Giladi in early 2025, Jimpphat's form dropped off dramatically. He went from averaging a 1.17 over 154 maps in 2024 to a 1.04 over 191 maps in 2025. In 2026, he averaged the same 1.04 rating over 56 maps.

There are no significant rumors about where Jimpphat may go after BC.Game's CEO shut down rumors of a move there. As for MOUZ, with Justinas "jL" Lekavicius finding moderate success during his time as a stand-in and recently exiting NAVI, he is a promising candidate as a replacement.

MOUZ are now:

  • Dorian "xertioN" Berman

  • Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás

  • Lotan "Spinx" Giladi

  • Adrian "xelex" Vincze

  • Denmark Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen (Coach)
