FaZe stay alive at XSE Pro League with dominant win over SINNERS
With opening best-of-one losses to TYLOO and MIBR, FaZe faced elimination early in a best-of-three against SINNERS. Fortunately for them, new AWPer Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen and ever-dependable rifler David "frozen" Čerňanský continued their great form to secure a dominant 2-0 victory, keeping the team alive.
The series began on SINNERS' pick of Mirage, but it was FaZe who got the hot start to go up 7-1. SINNERS got a few at the end, but FaZe still led 8-4 at the half. After a little back and forth, FaZe closed the map 13-7. frozen was untouchable as he went 27-10 with 137.5 ADR and +10.71% round swing.
Things kept flowing for FaZe on their Ancient pick as they steamrolled SINNERS with nine rounds in a row before SINNERS finally got on the board. Entering the second half up 10-2, FaZe quickly ended the map 13-2. Though many excelled, JBOEN stood out with a disgusting 20-5 K/D as well as multikills in 6/15 rounds.
FaZe will play another best-of-three tomorrow in the 1-2 pool to continue their run at XSE Pro League.
