New CS2 hostage map Shelter lets players rescue dogs

In the most recent CS2 update, which introduced Premier Season 5, a handful of community maps were brought into the game.

Among them is the hostage map Shelter, which is set at a dog shelter where the pups are being kidnapped for use in "illegal medical trials" from Wakaalu County Animal Shelter.

The new hostage map works the same as other entries in CS, where Ts are attempting to stop CTs from rescuing the hostages. The difference here is, when a CT picks up a hostage, it's a dog around the player's back and not a human hostage, of course.

The trailer for the map includes a haunting 911 call where the caller depicts that five armed men are trying to take the dogs from the adoption center, to the dispatcher's confusion.
