NRG and Legacy reach Thunderpick World Championship NA Series #1 finals
NRG and Legacy are the finalists of Thunderpick World Championship NA Series #1, an online tournament that will decide who qualify for the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 Closed Qualifier in September.
Legacy have been playing the tournament since the group stage, while NRG joined the fray just in the playoffs.
The Brazilians had no trouble whatsoever in their path to the grand finals as they took down both Getting Info and Wildcard by convincing 2-0 victories.
The trio of Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer, Lucas "lux" Meneghini, and Bruno "latto" Rebelatto combined for 103 frags against Wildcard, while nobody on Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's team finished with a positive K/D.

As for NRG, they had some trouble beating the newly formed Moneyball team as they lost Mirage and could have lost Dust2 as well, despite Moneyball playing with Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell instead of the AWPer Paytyn "junior" Johnson.
