zweih will be the youngest player at the Major

Oldest and youngest CS2 players at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

There's a good mix of youth and experience.

The list of all players registered for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 has been out since May 9th, and Dust2.us took a look to identify who are the oldest and the youngest players are attending the American Major.

There's a surge of fresh talent in the competitive scene, but plenty of CS:GO and even Counter-Strike: 1.6 veterans are still around.

These are the top five youngest players registered for the Austin Major:

Youngest players at the BLAST.tv Austin Major

  1. Ivan "zweih" Gogin (Nemiga) - 17 years old (born September 19th, 2007)

  2. Brazil Iago "deemO" Henrique (listed as a substitute for paiN) - 17 years old (born September 4th, 2007)

  3. Ayush "mzinho" Batbold (The MongolZ) - 17 years old (born June 28th, 2007)

  4. Brazil João "snow" Vinicius (paiN) - 18 years old (born March 22nd, 2007)

  5. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets (Spirit) - 18 years old (born January 25th, 2007)

Now let's look at the top five oldest players registered for the Austin Major:

Oldest players at the BLAST.tv Austin Major

  1. Denmark Finn "karrigan" Andersen (FaZe) - 35 years old (born April 14th, 1990)

  2. United States Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue (listed as a substitute for Wildcard) - 34 years old (born January 14th, 1991)

  3. Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli (Aurora) - 34 years old (born January 25th, 1991)

  4. Brazil Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo (FURIA) - 33 years old (May 30th, 1991)

  5. Nicolás "Noktse" Dávila (BESTIA) - 32 years old (born January 19th, 1993)

The fact that the age gap between karrigan and zweih is 18 years is truly mind-blowing and just goes to show how the Danish IGL is doing a great job keeping up with all the newcomers.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 1 kicks off on June 3rd, and maybe we'll see some generational clashes.
