Astralis is struggling to find a buyer in Denmark, says Striker

The future of Astralis and their players remains unclear.

Given how much influence Astralis had in Denmark, one would say that it would be easy to find a buyer in the country. But, it turns out that Astralis is struggling to find one, according to HLTV's Editor-in-Chief Milan "Striker" Švejda.

Striker said in the latest episode of the HLTV Confirmed show that Astralis could go on bankrupt, sell a core of players, or look for individual deals for each player, as there doesn't seem to be anyone in Denmark interested in acquiring the Astralis brand and their assets.

It doesn't look like anybody local is interested in it, some of these teams that have been on the up in Denmark like Sashi or Tricked, there's some money there, but apparently they're not interested in the brand. They would rather build something of their own.

So, nobody really local to Denmark wants it, even though it seems that Astralis as a brand still has some value. I don't know, it just seems like there are still a lot of possibilities and it could very well transpire in the next few weeks or couple of months, maybe.

So, by all looks of it, things in Astralis will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

The team is set to attend the PGL Astana, which kicks off on May 11th, with Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen in place of Casper "cadiaN" Møller. This will be Astralis' first tournament since they failed to qualify for the BLAST.tv Austin Major last month.
