Cobblestone completes seven years outside the map pool
The map hasn't been in the competitive pool since 2018.
One of Counter-Strike's most iconic maps, Cobblestone, has now been out of the Active Duty map pool for seven years, being taken out of the pool on April 20th, 2018 for Dust2. The map was removed from the game entirely in March 2019 and hasn't returned since.
Most recently, Cobble was introduced into CS:GO in December 2013 and was added to the Active Duty mapset in August 2014.
The map has appeared in of CS 1.6, Condition Zero, Source, and Global Offensive so far. It was also notably created by David Johnston, who also made Dust and Dust2. The map was rumored to return in August 2023 with a winter theme.
