BHOP Esports to host two-day CS2 LAN at Vernon Hills, Illinois location

BHOP Esports, a series of LAN centers in Chicagoland, have announced plans to host a two-day Counter-Strike 2 LAN at their Vernon Hills, Illinois location from April 25th to April 26th. Slots for the Unranked event currently cost $400 per team, with eight teams signed up at the time of publication. The prize pool is currently TBD, with it likely scaling based on the number of sign-ups.

The event appears to be geared more towards local semi-professional players, however they are a few notable names sprinkled amongst the current signups inlcuding a mixteam named Homecoming featuring: Michael "Zichael" Zhao, Mason "mason" Watkins, Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko, Kyle "Sunk" Kallahan, and Vladyslav "Valter0k" Pukhtai.

BHOP are likely most known in the NACS community for sponsoring a number of CS:GO teams in 2023 and 2023, most notably hosting Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk, and Ethan "reck" Serrano at various points in 2022.
