CROSSFIRE Season 5 reaches playoffs

16 teams have advanced to the CROSSFIRE Season 5 playoffs, including Overtake Sector, Wanted Goons, Club 333, and regain.

Overtake Sector secured their spot in the single elimination playoffs with a 2-0 win over Outfit 49. Iowa Stormboar, who defeated Fathom 2-1, would be Overtake Sector's first playoff opponent and victory, with Jason "jason" Garcia and Brett "Scorchyy" Coolen tying one another at 54 frags apiece.

Aside from Outfit 49 and Fathom, other teams that fell short of the playoffs include DETONATE, Aura, and New Legends. In addition to the Overtake Sector vs Iowa Stormboar match, raisedbypixels received their first playoff win against Zealous.
