Gizmy is reportedly linking up with rain and device

Media: 100 Thieves target Gizmy as new IGL

Gizmy is reportedly on the move to take over the leadership role at 100T.

According to a report a report by HLTV's Luís "MIRAA" Mira, 100 Thieves have are allegedly in talks with Monte to acquire British IGL Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen from the Ukrainian organization. The 22-year-old IGL would take over the role from Håvard "rain" Nygaard, although the former FaZe player is expected to stay in the lineup under a different role.

Gizmy's reported move to 100 Thieves following a report earlier today that Monte's core has garnered the interest of Luminosity as they eye a return to Counter-Strike after seven years.

According to HLTV, it is currently unknown who Gizmy would replace within the 100 Thieves roster, however Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz is presumably safe due as the team's AWPer, suggesting one of the young riflers on the squad is on the chopping block.

Gizmy has garnered much attention in the scene after returning to Monte's lineup in January 2025 after a stint with their academy team. After performing well at a number of smaller events, Gizmy helped Monte to claim a spot at the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, advancing out of Stage Two with a 3-2 record before bowing out in Stage Three with a 1-3 record.

The change in leadership at 100 thieves comes as the project was stagnated to a degree at 42nd in the world on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS). With the organization having stated its goal is to qualify to the PGL Major Singapore 2026, the status quo was likely viewed as untenable, requiring a fresh perspective from the young IGL.
