ag1L may be out

Media: 100T to part ways with Ag1L

The adversity builds for old SAW players.

Portuguese esports outlet RTP Arena reports that André “ag1L” Gil will be exiting the 100 Thieves starting lineup after nearly half a year. This news deals yet another blow to Portuguese Counter-Strike, with SAW's previous core now benched by BC.Game and former teammate João "story" Vieira reportedly wanting out of FlyQuest.

100 Thieves are also rumored to be interested in Monte's Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen. The British IGL would likely take over Håvard "rain" Nygaard's captaincy, with the veteran reportedly swapping roles.

Changes seem inevitable, especially as the team's latest outing in CCT Europe 2026 Series 4 saw the Series 3 champs get excluded from the grand finals by 42nd-ranked TDK. Given the prestige of the org's brand within other esports, and given their investment into accomplished veterans like rain and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, 100 Thieves likely expect their roster to dominate these B-Tier events consistently.

During his time with 100 Thieves, ag1L himself has put up a 1.05 rating over 115 maps. During the last month, however, he's down to a 0.98 rating over 33 maps.

If the reported changes go through, the team would be:

  • Håvard "rain" Nygaard (Switching Roles)

  • Denmark William "sirah" Kjærsgaard

  • Sweden Alex "poiii" Nyholm Sundgren

  • Denmark Nicolai "device" Reedtz

  • Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen (New IGL)

  • Denmark Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander (Coach)
