Wanted Goons add GKaay as assistant coach while Fraq-KTR returns to head coach role
About a month and a half after he stepped down from the lineup due to time commitment issues, Wanted Goons co-owner and GM Ian "Fraq-KTR" Burr will return to the head coach role. Additionally, the organization is adding Grant "GKaay" Kino as a new assistant coach.
While Fraq-KTR initially stepped down due to the time commitment issues and in an effort to find a more tactical coach, he has re-entered the role ahead of their playoff run in CROSSFIRE Season 5. Though the team had a disappointing exit in the playoffs of ESEA Advanced S57, they are still a squad with a lot of potential.
On social media, Fraq-KTR specified the team is, "still looking to replace me if the right coach is available." Though the search seems to be ongoing, he plans to stick around in the near future. Aiding in his new tenure will be Assistant Coach GKaay, who formerly led their academy project, according to the announcement post.
